03 / Nonprofit + cultural experience design. A nonprofit’s most important work shouldn’t be reduced to the speech between dinner and the ask. A benefit can raise money. A volunteer event can fill a shift. I’m interested in what happens when either one changes someone’s relationship to the mission. I design and produce experiences that bring donors, volunteers, and communities closer to the people and purpose behind the work. The mission is part of what happens—not a speech added between dinner and the ask. The form changes with the organization: theater, story, service, place, or something immersive created specifically for the mission. The goal isn’t simply a successful night or a completed shift. It is for someone to leave knowing the mission differently—at a human level, not as a presentation or a line item. The contribution may be tax-deductible. The reason they make it should be personal.

One project in development. Bringing an established blindness-centered public experience to New York. Currently, I’m building relationships within New York’s blind and low-vision community, identifying the right partners, and developing a plan for a first pop-up.
